If anyone is interested in seeing a spreadsheet comparing many of the premium panel products made by CT, USG and GP contact me at markm@cbwholesale.com. I've listed the primary ASTM spec relative to each product along with applications, limitations and descriptions. My view is GP still clearly owns the high end panel market with its Dens family of products. Of course, CT intends to penetrate that market with its GlasRoc glass faced panels. CT's M2Tech and USG's Mold Tough products aren't much more than "improved" water resistant panels because of their limited use in high humidity areas. The USG paperless gypsum Fiberock products, at least in the Northwest, do not appear to have made any significant market penetration. The spreadsheet is not definitive but may be helpful.

G-P products own the market in Hawaii and their Dens Armor Plus product has replaced waterboard on all military projects. We are getting 5 truckloads a month of that product.

National's EXP board is now the exterior glass mat product of choice for my largest customer.
