Johns Manville Corp. will be the sole provider of insulation products for Lowe’s Cos. Inc. under a multiyear supply contract.
While Lowe’s already offers Johns Manville insulation products in nearly 600 stores, the manufacturer’s full line of residential and commercial products will be available in all of the retailer’s locations in coming months.
“Johns Manville is the market leader in providing insulation products that can improve air quality and are easier to use for consumers,” says Nick Canter, Lowe’s executive vice president of merchandising. “Through this new, multiyear agreement, we will enhance a very productive relationship that has already benefited Lowe’s customers for well over a decade.”
Johns Manville, a Denver-based marketer of building and roofing insulation, is a division of Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE:BRK.A) of Omaha, Neb.
Mooresville-based Lowe’s (NYSE:LOW), founded in 1946, operates more than 1,675 home-improvement stores in the United States and Canada.
