A high-performance, non-combustible, moisture and mold-resistant roof board, SECUROCK Glass-Mat roof board provides a better choice for mechanically attached, fire barrier and thermal barrier applications.

SECUROCK Glass-Mat roof board has a high quality glass-mat, making it less itchy and easier to work with, which helps boost contractor productivity. The high mat-to-core tensile bond strength also makes the mat less likely to delaminate when cutting. It scores and snaps cleanly and easily.
SECUROCK Glass-Mat roof board is ideal for use in low-slope commercial roofing systems. Building professionals can enhance the durability of the entire roofing system when they use the glass-mat roof board as a cover board in single-ply mechanically attached systems. SECUROCK Glass-Mat roof board provides outstanding fire performance and meets Factory Mutual (FM) Class 1 and Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Class A fire ratings for unlimited slope in fire barrier applications per UL 790. With its specially treated core and high-performance glass-mat facer, the product provides protection against mold and moisture and scores a 10, the highest score for mold resistance on ASTM D3273.

With the introduction of SECUROCK Glass-Mat roof board, USG has created a full range of high-performance roof board products. Launched in 2005, SECUROCK® Gypsum-Fiber roof board (formerly SECUROCK® roof board), combines superior performance with sustainable design. Made from 95 percent recycled materials, SECUROCK Gypsum-Fiber roof board uses advanced fiber-reinforced technology to give the panel strength that outperforms competitive roof boards. The product is water resistant through to the core and also scores a 10 on ASTM D3273 for mold resistance.
SECUROCK Gypsum-Fiber roof board is a uniform, durable and fire-resistant product ideal for use in all types of adhered low-slope roofing systems. These include single-ply, fluid-applied, built-up, spray foam and modified bitumen roofing.
USG manufactures the gypsum-fiber roof board with a combination of synthetic gypsum and cellulose fibers. Synthetic gypsum is an environmentally-friendly byproduct from electrical plants and is indistinguishable from natural mined gypsum rock in performance and quality. SECUROCK Gypsum-Fiber roof board’s high recycled content has earned a Green Cross certification from Scientific Certification Systems and can help contribute points towards a LEED project certification.
